A 2012-2014 Database based on NFL Injury Reports
Concussions, a type of brain injury, are a growing concern in American Football. Traumatic brain injuries "have been proposed as a major cause of player suicides and other symptoms after retirement, including memory loss, depression and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE)".
This Silk contains data on NFL Injury Reports tracked by PBS' Concussion Watch, combined with additional analysis based on single athletes, teams and positions, as well as with information from Wikipedia.
We have also included contextual data, like the results of all the NFL Regular Season, Playoff and Super Bowl Matches.
